15K Aerobic Strength Run

(Specific for 800m/1500m)

*Done once every 2 weeks; the objective is to achieve the highest level possible during the prep period and then maintain that level throughout the early competitive and competitive phases.

 

Reference point Goal for 1500m: 4:15

Collegiate Level (80% effort) for 9.4 miles (15k) = 73:45
National Level (90% effort) for 9.4 miles (15k) = 65:33
International Level (100% effort) for 9.4 miles (15k) = 59:00
